Guided Tours of the King’s Gardens are an excellent way to learn more about the history of the gardens, design and horticulture. Tours include information on Southport heritage and Friends of King’s Gardens role in the preservation and reuse of the King’s Gardens as a public park. Tours last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and are wheelchair accessible.
All tours begin at the Arts and Crafts Shelter and must be booked in advance.

Tours are free, but a proposed donation of £3pp which goes to the Friends of King’s Gardens charity (of which all money raised is put back into the gardens for community purpose.)
There are some interesting interpretation panels positioned around the gardens, the history trail shows you where they are.
